Hi, my name is Bradley Dean Whyte and I moved to Austin, Texas from Thailand. I just finished my first studio record, Emperor’s New Tea, after listneing to a lot of Monkees, Beatles, Beck, They Might Be Giants, Prince, and Harry Nilsson. I have also made two children’s records, a folk music collaboration with Canadian musician Matthew Whiston, sound designs for theatre, and various commissions.
My next record (working title: Soundpicture Motiontrack) will feature collaborations with Anton Fig (Drummer for the CBS Orchestra on The Late Show with David Letterman) on handfull of tracks, Becca Ayers (Broadway performer and songwriter) and a few others.
I have also been a professional actor and have worked at The Utah Shakespearean Festival, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, The Shakespeare Theatre of D.C., Circle X Theater Co. of L.A., The Actor’s Shakespeare Company of New Jersey, Nebraska Repertory Theater and Kansas City Repertory Theatre. I have written and/or arranged original music for The Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Cape Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre, and Passage Theatre of New Jersey.
